Since opening our first nursery in 2013, Bright Little Stars Nursery Group have successfully expanded to six nurseries, the most recent opened in May 2021. The co-founders endeavoured to create a nursery with a child-centred environment where every child is empowered to reach their full potential. We are looking for a Dynamic and Experienced Nursery Manager to lead our passionate Stratford team and play a key role in the continued growth and development of our nursery while providing exceptional care and education during this maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to take initiative, bring fresh ideas, and contribute to the success of a thriving early years setting whilst support dedicated staff, and ensuring our local international families feel confident that their child is receiving an exceptional start in life.
As the Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring outstanding childcare and education, a safe and nurturing environment, and strong leadership of your team. You will oversee staff development, compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards, and parent partnerships while driving excellence in all areas.
We believe that the key elements to achieving Outstanding standards include high levels of staffing, generously above the statutory welfare requirements, high staff retention percentages and continuous staff development. You will need to:
- Have at least a recognised Early Years Level 3 qualification.
- Proven leadership experience in a nursery setting
- Maintain the highest EYFS and Ofsted standards while fostering a culture of educational excellence
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets
- Excellent communication skills and people management
- 2 years previous relevant Nursery Management experience.
- Champion staff development and career growth, fostering a collaborative and fulfilling workplace
- Ensuring stable occupancy levels.
- Computer literate and adaptable when working with different software systems
- Excellent business acumen and management skills.
